AI didn't change me. It helped me express what was already there

The worry is that using AI makes your work less yours. My experience was the opposite.

The ideas were always there: in half-written notes, in things I said out loud and never wrote down. What I was missing was the bridge between what I meant and what I could produce. That's what changed. The thoughts are still mine, the taste is still mine, the choices are still mine. They just stopped getting lost on the way out.
